This image was created by taking close-up photos of two leaves, creating a collage, then overpainting and manipulating the digital layers to create this abstract image. The technique of enhancing photographs with digital painting is called photobashing. The results are limitless. One doesn’t see much green in abstracts, so the artist decided to be contrary. Hi Suki, Well, I don't know where to start. All your work is absolute amazing, I am favoring this plant based piece right now. Love the way the light filters through the leaves contrasting against the earthy shadows and the lines leading you down into the earth. The introduction of reds and browns is excellent.
